De overheid komt haar belofte na en maakt extra landbouwgrond vrij om aan de grote vraag naar lokale productie te voldoen. Als boeren zijn we hier erg blij mee!

At Dickmans Farm, we’ve always believed in the power of local production — fresh, healthy food grown on Mongolian soil, by Mongolian hands. That’s why we’re proud and excited to share some incredible news that will benefit not just our farm, but farmers across the entire country.

📢 The Mongolian government has officially announced that more agricultural land will be made available in 2025, fulfilling a long-awaited promise to support domestic food production and strengthen food security.

During a recent cabinet session, the government approved a comprehensive national land utilization plan. This includes a large-scale expansion of farmland, allowing for over 655,000 hectares to be cultivated this spring alone. That’s land dedicated to grains, potatoes, vegetables, and more — and it’s a huge win for farmers like us who are ready to grow.

💬 What This Means for Dickmans Farm

This announcement couldn’t come at a better time. Demand for locally grown food is rising, and now we have the land and government backing to meet that demand in a sustainable and scalable way. At Dickmans Farm, we are:

  • Preparing to expand our production area for vegetables and cereals
  • Investing in new techniques for regenerative and climate-smart agriculture

  • Exploring carbon farming opportunities to increase sustainability and unlock new income streams

We’re not just planting crops — we’re planting a future. 🌱

🙌 Thank You to the Government

We applaud the Mongolian government for standing by its word and putting farmers first. The new policies and land access initiatives show a real understanding of what our sector needs to thrive.

This support empowers farms like ours to produce more, waste less, and provide healthy, locally grown food for Mongolian families. That’s a mission we’re proud to carry forward — together with you.
